LEGACY OF FATHER AND SON

Perhaps the most difficult challenge Samer Sharaiha, founder of Cali-Born Dreams, has faced in his life, has been how to help his father feel better. In early 2017, Saad Sharaiha was diagnosed with a lump in his lung, heart failure, COPD and kidney failure. The shocking prognosis: two weeks to two months to live. It was heartbreaking and grim for the whole family. Needless to say, Saad did not feel well and Samer most certainly did not want to see his father suffer.

As he had done so devotedly with friends, Samer introduced the best CBD regimen he could for his father. Slowly but surely, Saad started to improve. Eight months later, after a CT Scan of his father’s chest, the doctors reported… “The small prevascular space lymph node is now smaller”. March 3, 2019, Saad celebrated his 80th birthday with his family at home. Of course there were ups and downs, but Saad was given much needed ease from the pain. Ultimately receiving more than two years of life than originally predicted. With the inevitable passage of time, Saad Sharahia was admitted to the hospital and passed away this October 12th, with Samer by his side.

Even during the hospital stay, Saad had asked his son to continue the CBD regimen because it helped him feel better. Saad Sharaiha: Born March 3, 1939 in Al Karak, Jordan and passed October 12, 2019, Walnut Creek, CA. Devoted, husband, father and friend.
